Celebrate the Christmas Season in one of the southland's most beautiful settings. Delicious Cajun/Creole buffet, open bar, lively dance band, door prizes and plenty of good cheer combine to heighten the holiday spirit throughout the famous alley of oaks and lovely antebellum mansion. From the balcony, a brass quintet welcomes arriving guests and will later lead the traditional parade up the alley to the levee for the lighting of the bonfire, caroling and fireworks right on the banks of the Mississippi River. Back to the mansion for coffee, hot chocolate, beignets, and more dancing 'til midnight as we round out a spectacular evening of Yuletide joy. One of the most popular events of the season, ticket reservations accepted 1st Tuesday of September. For ticket prices and more information call 800-44ALLEY or 225-265-2151.
